I admit it, I LOVE jewelry! I love how a simple piece of jewelry can make a so-so outfit pop. The one thing I love most about the jewelry I own is it all means something to me. Each piece has its own story and memory attached to it. I am excited to share with you a grass roots company started by a teenager. Yes, you heard me right, a teenager! Isabella, a 13 year old girl started Origami Owl with only $350 in babysitting money and a match in funds from her mom and dad. Isabella slowly grew her business by doing home shows with friends. You can read more about her story here.
My good friend Angela is a hard working mom who loves this business and asked me to share the beautiful and personalized jewelry of Origami Owl with you my readers. I love the idea behind the jewelry line and the story of Isabella is the American Dream.
I have the medium silver locket from their Living Lockets Collection to review today and give away. The locket is well-made, with a magnetic locking clasp system and comes with a delicate chain. What I love about Origami Owl’s lockets is how you can personalize them. The center of the locket is beautiful clear window where you can place your personalized charms.
Origami Owl has 17 different charm categories to choose from to personalize your locket.
I have five different personalized charms to go with my locket:
Yellow ribbon – it symbolizes my support for my husband who is a career Army man as well as all the other military out there serving our beautiful country.

Love – I remember the first time I laid eyes on my husband he was deathly white from the flu, but in a tux at his brother’s wedding. It was love at first site even though we never met in person at the time. The Love charm reminds me of that first moment I felt someone was able to look into my soul.

The idea behind Origami Owl is simple, but each piece tells a story.
