- Water Color Paints
- Paint brushes
- Coffee filters
- Pipe Cleaners
- Blow dryer
Give your kids a paint brush, water colors and several coffee filters. Let your kids paint them all over until they are completely painted. When all your filters are done take your blow dryer to speed up the drying process of each filter. This took us less than five minutes, but saved us time from waiting.
Once the filter is dry bunch the center of the coffee filter and use a pipe cleaner to tie around the center. Make sure you leave enough pipe cleaner to create the butterflies antennas. Add another pipe cleaner to make your butterflies body and you are finished.
This painted water color coffee filter butterfly craft is simple, easy, inexpensive and fun. Hope your kids have as much fun as my kids did.
XOXO,
Amee
